Just in:... Soldiers Vandalised/Burned BRT Buses On Ikorodu Road Over The Death Of One Od Their Colleague (PHOTOS)

Violence seems to be the order of the day in Nigeria today.

So this morning, a BRT bus hit and killed an officer who was riding a bike on a BRT lane (wrong move) and them Soldier dude decided to take their anger ourlt on the BRT bus drivers and close by civilians along Ikorodu road, Lagos this morning, July 4, 2014.

 According to sources.
The soldiers unleashed terror on all BRT bus drivers on the busy Ikorodu road over the death of their colleague.

The road at Palmgrove was blocked by the soldiers, and they began to vandalise every BRT in sight, causing a massive traffic. The drivers abandoned their buses and fled for their dear lives.

The windscreens of the buses were vandalised and at about 9.30am, soldiers began setting the buses on fire at palmgrove. An eyewitness said that not less than four buses were burnt down and many others vandalised.

A journalist who attempted to take photos was severely beaten by the soldiers and had to be rushed to the hospital(who send am??). Some other pedestrians who were making calls with their phones or even just holding the phone in sight were slapped and kicked and their phones seized or damaged.

They are at least 80 soldiers on the road between Onipanu and Palmgrove and pedestrians were required to raise their two hands as they passed to avoid beating by the soldiers. Bloody

Its a miracle that these pictures were taken.
