After performing at the 2014, Channel O awards, Patoranking and Tiwa Savage suffered harsh criticisms from fans who were displeased about their disrespected the army uniform.
Patoranking wore a sleeveless full military uniform while Tiwa Savage wore a bum-short design version of the camouflage on.stage.
Some fans took to Instagram to express how they feel:

drayotunde: @mrkpad you seem to be the illiterate here because this is a disrespect to a nation’s military! Am a fan of @patorankingfire but there are a million & one costumes, military camouflage is not for play! How many foreign artistes do you see doing this?
What's your take on this issue? Should they be accorded poetic Justice on this one or they should be stopped?
