It’s Holy Week for Catholics around the world right now and a school in Brazil decided to celebrate with some of their students.

But what they did has a whole lot of people around the world in shock! Check out the picture above of these VERY young school children re-enacting the crucifixion of Jesus!

You can see that Kid Jesus is wrapped in only a loin cloth and has been given painted-on wounds throughout his body! He also has a crown of thorns on his head while he mocks being nailed to a wooden cross!

Wowowow! Is that really appropriate??

Other children around him play the parts of Jesus’s mother Mary and Mary Magdalene as well as Roman soldiers.
