A 38-year-old groom, Mr. Nze- kwe Chukwuemeka Barthlomew died on his way to take his wedding vows with his bride on Saturday last week
The late Bartholomew, who was a vulcanizer, died in an accident on his way to the Church for his wedding ceremony in Ekwuluobia Anambra, yesterday.
According to the news, he was being conveyed on a high capacity motorcycle around 9:30am by his Best Man, from their home to the church in Ekwuluobia where the bride was already waiting for him.
Tragedy struck when the two friends ran into a stationary Camry car and the driver of the car suddenly opened the door unaware of the motorcycle coming behind reportedly on high speed.
May God give the bride that never was fortitude to bear the loss.
