The lady, Ataye Eligidagne, is a 20 year old who left a lot of people in shocked.
She was found by Joffe, a member of am Australian media crew who told told Daily Mail Australia...
"We were taking a tour with some of the local guides. When they spotted the woman, they were absolutely bewildered. I’m a big reader of Guinness World Records and I figured it was out of the ordinary, but you know you’ve found something special when the locals are amazed."
Ethopia had tired to place a ban on the culture but some still practice it.The process involves the removal of her two bottom teeth and she said it wasn’t painful or have any side effects.
The previous record disc in the Guinness Book of World Records was 15cm in diameter but Ataye Eligidagne is an amazing 59.5 cm in circumference and 19.5 cm in diameter. This is twice the size of the previous record holder
The disc’s are intended to attract a husband as well as a dowry for the family of the wife, who provide a contingent of cattle respective to the size of the disc. How bizarre!
Who would marry her with such deformity now? Cause her lips look pretty deformed. Its anything but attractive.
