As a feminist, you should know your place in the society, that includes knowing your place in you spouse's life. Men inclusive.
Now if you are in a relationship where you are constantly reminded of your age difference like;
"I'm not your mate baby" or
"You don't understand how this is, when you get of age you will".
Where in everything, the man would always draw your attention to the fact that he is way older (and vise versa of course) I would suggest you let him find his or her age and be with the person.
Put simply, if you are in a relationship, both of you are considered mates, equals, half of a whole. So that constant reminder only means your no equal for him and your being together with the person is unnecessary. Just leave. Let him find his mate!
