NEW YEAR TERROR: Suicide bomber injures many in Gombe church

Yesterday, the first of 2015, A suicide bomber blew himself up outside an evangelist church in northeast Nigeria injuring several people. 

A rescuer said.

“There was an explosion outside the ECWA church this morning. A suicide bomber who was restrained from getting into the church blew himself up,”

Abubakar Yakubu, who heads the Nigeria Red Cross in Gombe told AFP.

“Luckily no one was killed but some people were mildly injured,” 

Just when I thought we are having a peaceful festive period.. *signs*
