WOMAN, 22, ALLEGEDLY SLIT THROAT OF PREGNANT WOMAN, RIPPED BABY FROM HER BELLY

This story is horrific and heart breaking on so many levels. The New York Post reports on Ashleigh Wade, a New York City woman who was allegedly so desperate to have a child that she slit the throat of her friend, Angelikque Sutton,​ who was nine months' pregnant, and then carved the baby out of her belly. 

Ashleigh Wade's boyfriend, ​Angel Praylow​,​ believed his girlfriend was pregnant and had been posting photos of baby girl clothes and sonograms to his Facebook for months. Ashleigh Wade allegedly called him to her home last Friday; when he arrived and saw the slaying, he called the cops.

Angel Praylow was found by police outside the house, clutching the newborn. ​"It's my baby!" Wade allegedly kept telling the cops. Ashleigh Wade and Sutton, both 22, had apparently known each other since they were kids. 

Wade allegedly stabbed Sutton and then performed a crude Cesarean section before ripping the child from her womb.

"The placenta was on the floor, and the perp had cut the cord herself," a source told The Post. Sutton and her baby were taken to a nearby hospital, where Sutton was pronounced dead. The baby survived.​
