French Residency Laws Are Causing HUGE Problems For Kim Kardashian's And Kanye West's Wedding Plans!

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West might be in a

wedding crisis!

Their plans to tie the knot on May 24 might be halted after learning that French law insists that at least one of the parties reside in France for 40 days prior to the wedding.

According to the French Embassy, the statute states: "All marriages must be performed by a French civil authority before any religious ceremony takes place. The mayor can authorize the deputy mayor or a city councilor to perform the ceremony in the town in which one of the parties to be married has resided for at least 40 days preceding the marriage. These requirements can not be waived.”

UH OH! And a source close to the power couple even confirmed they "were unaware until recently" of the requirement which could very well explain why Yeezy world tour has postponed his planned Australian tour from May to fall.

Thank goodness they found out before it was too late, otherwise there was bound 2 be tears from Kimmy and NO ONE wants to see our reality TV princess cry. Not to mention we've been looking forward to see that dress ever since their October engagement !
